Melissa Miller
Hello! I’m Dr. Miller, a licensed clinical psychologist in Texas. I am also authorized under PSYPACT to provide telehealth services to clients in over 40 additional states. I have more than 15 years of experience working in academic medical centers, outpatient private practices, and telehealth settings. I specialize in helping individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions return to living full and meaningful lives.
How would you describe your approach to care?
First and foremost, I provide a warm, safe space where you can openly share and explore your vulnerabilities, fears, and struggles. I strive to understand your experiences, collaborate with you to set goals, and offer the tools and support needed to help you achieve them. Our sessions are tailored to your specific needs, and I welcome any feedback or questions that may arise throughout our work together.
What should be expected in the first session?
Your consultation is designed to help you feel heard and to inspire hope that things can improve. We’ll start by discussing what led you to seek support, including any relevant background. I’ll explain what therapy typically involves and address any questions or concerns you may have. Together, we’ll identify the goals you’d like to work on in therapy. You’ll leave the consultation feeling heard, understood, and optimistic about the path ahead.
