Intro

I am a bilingual (English and Spanish) Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Florida, also practicing in PSYPACT-participating states. I earned my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Albizu University in Miami, Florida, with a specialization in Neuropsychology. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed working with older adults and hope to continue learning from them until I retire. In therapy, I take an integrated approach, balancing evidence-based treatments with each patient’s individual needs.

My family is the most important part of my life, and I cherish spending time with them. I have two boys and a wonderful, supportive husband. I also love to read and enjoy teaching mindfulness and meditation, practices that transformed my life for the better years ago.

How would you describe your approach to care?

I hold my goals as a practitioner close to my heart. I am dedicated to my patients and believe in offering unconditional positive regard to every individual I see in my practice. My ultimate goal is to provide each person with the utmost respect while fostering self-empowerment and growth toward their best self.

What should be expected in the first session?

I take a holistic approach to care, which means your consultation will include questions not only about what brings you to therapy, but also about your history and beliefs about life as a whole. However, I will not dwell on the dark moments that shape us; instead, the focus will be on rising toward your best self. You will set the tone for your first session, and I will be there to help you feel as comfortable as possible with patience and ease.
