Dr. Rachael Rogers
I am a Licensed Psychologist with a diverse clinical background spanning virtual intensive programs, as well as private and group practices. I have supported clients through major life transitions and bring a steady, thoughtful presence to therapy. I believe the therapeutic relationship is foundational for growth, and I strive to build a trusting, collaborative partnership that fosters meaningful change.
How would you describe your approach to care?
I utilize several evidence-based approaches in therapy, beginning with a person-centered approach that emphasizes empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard. Building on that rapport, I will bring in cognitive, behavioral, and mindfulness-based techniques to help meet you where you are at and enable you to meet your goals.
What should be expected in the first session?
In the first session, the focus is on getting to know one another, building trust, and establishing a solid foundation upon which to grow. I'll ask about what brings you to therapy and what you're looking for to make sure that we are aligned. I will ask questions to get to know you and identify your goals. I strive to foster a safe space through warmth, support, and collaboration.
