Angelica Meyers
Intro
I became a clinical therapist to empower individuals and advocate for those who feel they may not have a voice. Guided by values instilled early in life, I’m committed to compassionate care and standing up for others. Having personally navigated challenges with anxiety, depression, and ADHD, I bring both professional training and lived experience to my practice. This perspective allows me to help clients identify strengths, build resilience, and transform obstacles into opportunities for growth and self-discovery.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach to care is rooted in meeting clients where they are. I strive to understand each person’s identity, strengths, and aspirations. Together, we’ll identify meaningful goals and develop a personalized plan to support progress and address obstacles. By fostering a supportive and empowering environment, I help clients build resilience, overcome challenges, and move confidently toward the outcomes they envision for themselves.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our initial session, my priority is to build a genuine connection and create a comfortable environment. I take time to understand each client's reasons for seeking therapy, explore goals and address any practical or technical concerns. This approach helps ensure I am the right fit for their individual needs and helps clients to feel at ease while we collaborate on a path forward together.
