Intro
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, entrepreneur, and the founder of Anchor & Rise Therapy and Anchor & Rise Academy. I’m licensed in 37 states and specialize in trauma-focused care, including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) intensives. I provide therapy, clinical supervision, consulting, and continuing education for social workers nationwide. I’m passionate about licensure advocacy, workforce sustainability, and helping professionals anchor in their strength and rise in their purpose.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach to care is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and deeply relational. I believe healing happens in spaces where people feel safe, seen, and empowered. I integrate evidence-based practices, including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), with compassion and practical tools you can use in everyday life. I honor each person’s story while helping build insight, resilience, and forward movement. Together, we anchor in strengths, process what feels stuck, and rise toward meaningful, sustainable change.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where we focus on understanding your story and what brings you to therapy. We will review informed consent, confidentiality, and any questions you may have about the process. I will gather background information, explore your goals, and begin identifying priorities for our work together. You do not have to share everything at once—this is simply the starting point for building safety, clarity, and direction.
