Intro

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a focus on grief, trauma, and life transitions. My work centers on supporting people as they navigate loss in its many forms—whether through death, relationship changes, identity shifts, or other significant life experiences. I’m especially passionate about helping individuals make sense of their grief, honor their experiences, and find ways to move forward without minimizing what they’ve been through. In my practice, I often work with grief and loss, anxiety, trauma, relational challenges, and identity development. I’m committed to creating a space where clients can explore their experiences honestly and at their own pace, while building resilience, self-understanding, and a renewed sense of connection to themselves and others.

How would you describe your approach to care?

My approach is warm, attentive, and grounded in authenticity. I believe healing begins within a safe, trusting relationship, where you feel seen, heard, and respected. I work collaboratively with clients, honoring their unique stories while gently supporting deeper insight and emotional processing. I integrate grief-informed and trauma-aware practices, making space for both pain and growth to exist side by side. Rather than trying to “fix” or rush the process, I focus on helping you understand your experiences, build coping strategies, and reconnect with your sense of self. My goal is to support you in carrying what you’ve been through with greater clarity, compassion, and strength.

What should be expected in the first session?

In our first session, we’ll begin by getting to know one another in a way that feels comfortable and supportive. We’ll talk about what brings you to counseling, the current challenges you’re facing, and what you hope to gain from this space. There is no expectation to share everything at once. This process unfolds at your pace. I’ll also walk you through what to expect in our work together, answer any questions you may have, and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you. My intention is to create an environment where you feel safe, respected, and supported as we begin this work together.
