Cathleen Campaigne
Intro
I have over 30 years of diverse healthcare experience, specializing in social work and nursing across multiple settings. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, graduating summa cum laude from the University of Southern Colorado in 1995, and went on to complete a Master’s in Social Work with a healthcare concentration at the University of Denver in 1997. I achieved advanced practice and licensure status in 1999, and I am also a Licensed Practical Nurse in Colorado, with eligibility under the compact agreement for Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Nevada.
How would you describe your approach to care?
I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, sleep dysfunction, life stressors, grief and loss, and trauma, using evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). With a compassionate, results-driven approach, I’m committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges while improving their overall well-being.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. This is a relaxed, supportive conversation. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. We’ll also review how therapy works, what to expect moving forward, and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you. My priority is to make sure you feel heard, respected, and at ease as we start this journey together, at your own pace.
