Dr. Daniel Oporto
I’m a Licensed Psychologist in Colorado who supports adults and older adults as they navigate life’s changes. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. Whether you’re adjusting to health changes, coping with loss, or seeking more peace and balance, I meet you where you are. I believe therapy can be a space for understanding, growth, and reconnecting with what matters most in your life.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach is relaxed, collaborative, and focused on building a genuine connection. I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable being yourself and know you’re truly heard. We’ll work together to understand what’s getting in the way, explore what matters most to you, and find ways to navigate life’s changes with more confidence and balance. My goal is for you to feel supported, understood, and empowered to live your best life.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our first session, we’ll take time to get comfortable and talk about what’s bringing you in. There’s no rush or pressure to share more than you want to. We’ll explore what you’d like to work on, what therapy might look like moving forward, and find a pace that feels right for you. My hope is that you leave our first meeting feeling heard, supported, and ready to take the next step.
