Dr. Emily Grados
Intro
I'm Dr. Emily Grados, a clinical psychologist who works with older adults, supporting them through the complexities that life can bring as the years progress. I'm warm, compassionate, and curious, and I will meet you where you are as we collaborate toward your goals. I create a safe space where we can move at the pace that feels right for you and focus on what matters most. I believe we all have an infinite capacity to grow and change, even during challenging times.
How would you describe your approach to care?
I believe that by working as a team, we can create more joy, love, peace, comfort, and connection in your life. We will build a deep sense of trust so that you will feel comfortable being vulnerable and discussing your desires and your fears. My goal for you is freedom from whatever is holding you back from being the best possible version of yourself.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our first session we will discuss what brings you to therapy at this time in your life and what you hope to get out of our time together. I will answer any questions you may have about the process, and we'll get to know each other as we start to build trust and embark on this important new relationship to create meaningful change.
