Dr. Jacqueline Young
Intro
I am a compassionate, client-centered therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience. I blend evidence-based practices with a warm, collaborative style to create a safe space where clients feel supported and empowered. I meet people where they are and guide them toward meaningful growth at their own pace. My work is rooted in active listening, empathy, and a strong commitment to emotional well-being and personal transformation.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach is holistic, person-centered, and grounded in empathy. I strive to create a supportive environment where clients feel truly heard and respected. I incorporate evidence-based strategies that help individuals build resilience, gain insight, and make meaningful change. I honor each person’s pace and lived experience while supporting their strengths. My goal is to help clients achieve greater clarity, emotional balance, and long-term well-being.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our first session, we’ll ease into a comfortable conversation to help us get to know one another and understand what brings you to therapy. You can share only what feels right for you. We’ll discuss how therapy works, set expectations for our work together, and begin outlining goals that feel meaningful to you. My intention is for you to feel seen, respected, and at ease as we begin this journey at a pace that supports your comfort and growth.
