Intro
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience providing behavioral health and case management services across outpatient, community, and care-coordination settings. My work focuses on helping adults navigate life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, and health-related concerns, while strengthening coping skills and daily functioning. I commonly treat anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment issues with a supportive, practical approach. I am passionate about helping individuals gain insight, build confidence, and improve their quality of life so they feel more empowered in day-to-day decisions.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My therapeutic approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I integrate CBT and strengths-based interventions with reflective listening, psychoeducation, and practical skill-building. I emphasize understanding each client’s story, cultural context, and life stressors, while promoting insight, emotional regulation, and healthier relationship patterns. Sessions focus on identifying patterns, setting achievable goals, and reinforcing self-efficacy, with care plans tailored to the client’s readiness for change and overall functioning at home, work, and in relationships.
What should be expected in the first session?
In the first session, we will focus on getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. I will ask about current concerns, history, supports, and goals, while also explaining confidentiality and how therapy works. You are welcome to share at your own pace—there is no pressure to disclose everything immediately. Together, we will identify priorities and begin outlining a plan so you leave with a clear sense of direction and support.
