Intro
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with more than 25 years of clinical experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, understanding, and practical support. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with older adults, helping them explore their thoughts and emotions, build on their strengths, and find meaningful ways to cope with life's transitions and difficulties. I believe that healing and personal growth begin with a safe, supportive relationship where individuals feel heard, valued, and supported. Together, we will navigate life's challenges and transitions, identify your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience. My goal is to help you feel empowered to make meaningful changes, cultivate emotional well-being, and create a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and aligned with your values. No matter where you are on your journey, I am committed to walking alongside you with empathy, encouragement, and genuine care.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. I strive to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where clients can gain insight, develop greater self-compassion, and build confidence in themselves and their decisions. Together, we work to identify unhelpful patterns, strengthen resilience, and create positive, lasting change. I am passionate about helping people recognize their strengths, achieve their goals, improve their quality of life, and develop a deeper sense of peace, purpose, and well-being. It is a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they move toward greater fulfillment and become the best version of themselves.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our first session, we'll take time to get to know one another and explore what has brought you to therapy. This initial meeting is a supportive, judgment-free conversation where you can share at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We'll discuss your current concerns, review how the therapeutic process works, and begin identifying goals that are meaningful and important to you.
