Coming to therapy can feel scary and vulnerable. As a client-centered therapist, I am committed to walking alongside you as you discover how to live life to its fullest potential. What should be expected in the first session?
Relationship building and trust are the foundation of a strong therapeutic relationship. Our work together begins with getting to know one another. I will always be honest with you, and you are never required to answer a question before you feel ready. If something feels too personal, we can come back to it later, or not at all. My care, concern, and acceptance of you are unconditional. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel comfortable sharing the thoughts, feelings, and experiences you may have never shared with anyone before, perhaps even with yourself.
