Intro
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and I have been in practice for 18 years. In that time, I have primarily worked with adults to support them in using their strengths to achieve symptom reduction and improve overall functioning in their day-to-day lives. My skills are well suited to work in the areas of life transitions, aging, trauma, depression, and anxiety. I provide compassionate, nonjudgmental care to help individuals meet their goals and improve their quality of life.
How would you describe your approach to care?
I strongly believe that the therapeutic relationship is a critical part of positive change and I work hard to develop trust within that relationship. My approach is authentic, warm, and collaborative. I create a safe and gentle place for the work of cultivating personal change. Through supportive conversations, we will work together to navigate the challenges you are experiencing and to develop clarity, a sense of empowerment, and the confidence to make meaningful change.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our first session, we will get to know one another and discuss the things that brought you to counseling. This is a safe space of nonjudgment with no pressure to share more than you're comfortable sharing. We will discuss more about the therapy process, what to expect moving forward, and begin to identify meaningful goals. My priority is to ensure that you feel safe, heard, and supported as we progress through this sacred process at your own pace.
