Intro
As a clinical therapist with over 20 years of experience, I possess a deep understanding of the resources available for ongoing support. My primary goal is to assist you in identifying your aspirations and empower you to implement positive changes in your life. I recognize that the decision to seek help can be challenging.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach to care is compassionate, practical, and collaborative. I work at your pace, focusing on your strengths while helping you develop effective coping skills and emotional resilience. Drawing from cognitive-behavioral, supportive, and solution-focused therapies, I tailor treatment to each individual's needs and life experiences. I specialize in working with older adults, addressing life transitions, health challenges, anxiety, depression, grief, and the emotional aspects of aging with respect and understanding.
What should be expected in the first session?
During your first session, we will talk about what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together. I will ask questions to understand your history, current concerns, and strengths. There is no pressure to share everything at once. My goal is to provide a comfortable, respectful space where you feel heard, supported, and understood as we begin developing a plan tailored to your needs.
