Intro

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of clinical experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges and improve their emotional well-being. Throughout my career, I have worked with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, stress, and self-esteem issues. I am passionate about providing a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions, build resilience, and achieve personal growth. My goal is to help individuals develop healthier coping strategies, gain confidence, and create meaningful, positive changes in their daily lives.

How would you describe your approach to care?

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth, healing, and positive change when provided with a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. I draw from Adlerian theory by helping clients explore how their life experiences, relationships, and beliefs influence their current behaviors and emotional well-being, while also encouraging personal insight, purpose, and connection with others. I also incorporate a person-centered approach, focusing on empathy, respect, and unconditional positive regard to help clients feel heard, valued, and understood. My goal is to work alongside each client to identify their strengths, build resilience, and develop practical strategies to overcome challenges. I tailor treatment to each individual's unique needs, helping clients gain confidence, improve coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

What should be expected in the first session?

In the first session, clients can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they can feel comfortable sharing their concerns and goals for therapy. We will spend time getting to know one another, discussing what has brought them to counseling, and exploring their personal history, current challenges, strengths, and areas they would like to improve. The first session is also an opportunity to ask questions, discuss expectations for therapy, and begin developing a plan tailored to the client's individual needs and goals. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered, so clients can expect to feel heard, respected, and supported throughout the process. Together, we will begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship focused on growth, healing, and positive change.
