Intro

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) located in West Virginia and also licensed in New Jersey and Idaho. I have 25 years of clinical experience. Concerns that I have worked with include depression, anxiety, anger management, caregiver stress, grief, life transitions, loneliness, and self-esteem issues. I strive to help individuals find the joy in each day while also navigating life challenges.

How would you describe your approach to care?

My approach is rooted in empathy, warmth, and encouragement, balanced by gentle challenges necessary for growth. I prioritize building a foundation of trust, allowing us to focus on shifting your energy toward what you can control to create lasting balance and empowerment. You can expect me to listen attentively within a caring, non-judgmental space, as I believe therapy is a collaborative partnership—something I do with you, rather than to you.

What should be expected in the first session?

In our first session, we will take the time to get to know each other, and I will learn what has brought you to therapy, always working within your personal comfort level. I will discuss my clinical approach and outline what you can expect from our sessions moving forward. Together, we will begin identifying the specific goals that align with your needs. My priority is for you to feel heard and respected, ensuring you leave our first meeting feeling confident about the work we will do together.
