Hi, you can call me Dee! I'm a licensed clinical social worker based in Virginia with years of clinical experience supporting women at every stage of life, whether single, partnered, parenting, or navigating something in between. I bring a warm, creative, and culturally grounded presence into every therapeutic relationship I'm honored to be part of.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My current clinical approach focuses on women's mental health, family challenges, boundaries, career counseling, and parenting.
What should be expected in the first session?
Our first session is a conversation, not an interview. I'll ask about what's bringing you in, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping to feel or change. You'll get a sense of my style and decide whether I'm the right fit — no pressure. We'll talk through goals, any practical questions about scheduling or insurance, and begin shaping a personalized plan together. Expect warmth, curiosity, and zero judgment from start to finish.
