Hello, I’m Teresa. For the past decade, I’ve worked with individuals from many different walks of life, offering support during times of uncertainty or stress. Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or simply need someone to talk to, I’m here to listen, help you feel heard, and walk alongside you toward greater clarity and comfort.
How would you describe your approach to care?
Through motivational interviewing, I work to gain a thorough understanding of the challenges you’re facing and collaborate toward effective solutions. Using evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), we will work together to reframe unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier coping strategies. While there are no quick fixes, there are proven methods to navigate life’s challenges, and together we will find the approach that works best for you.
What should be expected in the first session?
I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental environment where you can feel heard and understood. By actively listening and creating a safe, supportive space, I’ll work with you to explore your concerns and collaboratively develop strategies to help you approach and manage challenges from a fresh perspective.
