Intro
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with experience as a speaker, consultant, and supervisor across multiple systems including community mental health, education, substance use, and crisis systems. I specialize in working with anxiety, couples, family dynamics, and a life beyond trauma in a culturally responsive manner. My work reflects a deep commitment to bridging clinical excellence with real-world accessibility—ensuring that individuals, families, and communities receive care that is both effective and affirming.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach is open and welcoming. I'm very collaborative in how we set goals and identify what we are working towards. We focus on more than just the problem; hopes, dreams, joys, and the other parts that make life worth living.
What should be expected in the first session?
The first session is a get-to-know-you experience. We will review some of the basics about therapy and any questions that you have. We will also explore some of your history and background, and what is bringing you to counseling. We want to get a clear sense of what is causing you distress, and also what brings light to your life.
