Intro
I have been providing mental health care for the past 15 years in various settings and with many types of people. I have been introduced to many different stories and ways of life and continue to be curious. This helps me maintain a warm empathy and compassion for my clients.
How would you describe your approach to care?
I practice from a warm, deeply empathetic, and trauma-informed lens, firmly believing that you are the ultimate expert in your own life. My role is not to dictate your path, but to collaborate with you as a supportive guide. By weaving together a client-centered philosophy with an in-depth understanding of social-emotional development phases, I tailor our work to meet you exactly where you are. Together, we will unpack how your past experiences and developmental milestones shape your present, cultivating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can heal, grow, and reconnect with your innate resilience.
What should be expected in the first session?
In the first session you can expect me to ask a lot of questions. I want to understand where you are coming from and what you need. The most important thing in our first meeting is making sure you feel comfortable, safe and understood.
