Join Our TeamWhat Advocates do
You'll make the calls, appeal the denials, and coordinate care

Insurance calls
& appeals
You'll read the denial, gather what's missing, and file the appeal — turning a "no" into coverage your patient actually needs.

Appointments
& referrals
You'll book the specialist visit, sit on hold so your patient doesn't have to, and keep calling until there's a confirmed date.

Finding resourcesthat matter
You'll connect patients to meals, transportation, housing support, walkers and other equipment — whatever's standing between them and staying healthy at home.

Coordination acrossthe care team
You'll keep the physician, patient, and family aligned on one plan, so nothing falls through the cracks between visits.

Your hours, your call
Minimum of 15 hours/week for Advocates and 5 hours/week for physicians — but up to as many as you'd like.
You're part of a team

Investment in your growth
CE credit support, ongoing learning resources, and a team that treats your development as part of the job.
Support and a real voice in the process
Regular office hours when you need support, plus biweekly team syncs where your feedback directly shapes how we improve the advocate and patient experience.
Empower happier and healthier aging

One of my favorite parts of this job is watching clinicians discover how rewarding it is to work with older adults. They arrive expecting to provide care, but often leave feeling they've learned just as much from their patients.

Frequently asked questions
What does a Patient Advocate do at Sailor Health?

Advocates work side by side with physicians to support Medicare patients managing chronic conditions — coordinating care, checking in between visits, and helping patients navigate a healthcare system that can be confusing and overwhelming.
What are the hour requirements?

Advocates commit to a minimum of 15 hours/week; physicians commit to a minimum of 5 hours/week. Both can take on more hours if they want to.
Is this a remote role?

Yes. All work happens virtually — no commute, no office, just a laptop and a strong internet connection.
How does Sailor match me with patients?

We fill your schedule with patients who are a strong fit for your approach and availability, so you're not spending your own time on outreach or scheduling.
What technology will I be using?

A modern platform built to make it easy to manage your caseload and stay in touch with patients between visits — designed to support your work, not add friction to it.
What kind of support does Sailor provide?

Regular office hours with our leads when you need help, plus biweekly team syncs where your feedback directly shapes how we improve the advocate and patient experience.
Who are Sailor's patients?

Medicare patients managing one or more chronic conditions, who need consistent support and coordination between doctor visits.
