Intro

Hi, I am Adria! I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with over 16 years of experience providing mental health services across a variety of clinical settings. I have experience in inpatient and outpatient substance use treatment, helping individuals navigate addiction, trauma, mental health, and recovery. I also specialize in supporting first responders and the unique challenges they face. I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I focus on helping clients strengthen their sense of self, build self-esteem, establish healthy self-care practices, and recognize the strengths they already possess. I believe that healing begins with connection, and I am honored to walk alongside my clients as they work toward greater well-being, resilience, and fulfillment. I remain committed to lifelong learning and continue to expand my clinical knowledge through ongoing training, professional development, and new therapeutic opportunities. My goal is to help clients discover their own capacity for healing and empower them to navigate life's challenges with confidence, self-compassion, and hope.

How would you describe your approach to care?

I believe that healing happens within a safe, collaborative, and trusting therapeutic relationship. My approach is client-centered, meaning I meet each individual where they are and tailor treatment to their unique needs, strengths, goals, and lived experiences. I strive to create a nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey. I am passionate about utilizing expressive and creative therapies as part of the healing process. Depending on a client's goals and interests, I may integrate art, journaling, mindfulness, storytelling, creative expression, and other experiential techniques to promote insight, emotional processing, and personal growth.

What should be expected in the first session?

The first session is not about having all the answers. It is about creating a foundation for our work together, helping you feel heard and understood, and beginning a process of growth, healing, and self-discovery. Our first session is really about getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. We'll talk about your concerns, your goals, and any questions you have about the process. My role is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can share at your own pace. Together, we'll explore what approaches might be most helpful for you, and we'll begin creating a plan that feels aligned with your needs and goals.
