Intro
Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) available to clients in both Tennessee and North Carolina. I bring both personal and professional experience to my practice, where I specialize in helping older adults navigate life's stressors and transitions. This can include grief, loss, caregiver stress, depression, anxiety, adjusting to new situations or environments, redefining purpose, dealing with adult children, coping with chronic illness, phase of life changes, and more. I have a passion for this work and for helping clients find clarity and peace in navigating life's challenges.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach is welcoming, warm, collaborative, and unique to each client. Creating a safe, supportive and "no pressure" environment. For you to feel free to share your doubts, concerns, challenges, and stories is a priority. Whether this is your first experience in therapy or you are looking for a fresh perspective, the time we set aside is for you. I believe you already possess all you need to cope with life's difficulties. Together, we can work toward helping you see that for yourself.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our first session, we'll take the time to get to know each other and discuss what brought you to therapy. This is a relaxed, supportive conversation—there's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with. We'll also talk about how therapy can work, what to expect moving forward, and we'll begin identifying goals for therapy that feel meaningful to you. My priority is to ensure you feel heard, respected, and at ease as we begin our work together.
