Intro

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland with over 15 years of experience as a psychotherapist. I have expertise in working with older adults, supporting them through anxiety, depression, life transitions, and chronic health conditions. I am excited to empower individuals to reach their goals with grace, compassion, and creativity.

How would you describe your approach to care?

It is part of our shared human experience to struggle with emotionally charged thoughts. Therapy offers a way to transform how we relate to these struggles, and that’s why I value being a therapist. I’ve found that when we meet the questions, uncertainties, and daily challenges of life with compassion and unconditional kindness, things begin to shift. The goal is to move toward joy, fulfillment, and a deeper sense of purpose. Too often, our minds get in the way—focused on fears and doubts. Our work together is about creating space to soften self-judgment, shift perspective, and move closer to a life grounded in what matters most.

What should be expected in the first session?

It takes tremendous courage to take this step; give yourself credit. I am sincerely grateful to you for joining me on this path of mindfulness and self-compassion. In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and explore what has motivated you to make this appointment. We’ll also discuss how therapy can support you in moving toward your goals and living a meaningful, joyful life.
