Intro
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS), Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP), and Approved Telehealth Supervisor with more than 20 years of counseling experience, I provide virtual therapy to individuals throughout Georgia. I am passionate about helping older adults navigate the emotional challenges that can come with aging while building resilience, maintaining independence, and improving overall well-being. My goal is to create a supportive, compassionate space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward with confidence.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach to therapy is solution-focused, empowerment-driven, and affirming. I work collaboratively with you to identify strengths, set meaningful goals, and develop practical strategies for lasting change. I strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where each individual feels heard, respected, and empowered to take ownership of their growth and healing.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our first session you can expect a warm, supportive, and respectful environment where you feel heard, valued, and comfortable discussing life's challenges. My goal is to help you navigate the emotional and practical changes that can come with aging while building resilience and enhancing overall well-being. Together, we focus on identifying personal strengths, developing effective coping strategies, and creating meaningful, realistic goals that support independence and a fulfilling quality of life. Whether addressing anxiety, depression, grief, caregiving responsibilities, chronic health concerns, retirement, or other life transitions, you will often leave sessions feeling more hopeful, confident, and equipped to face the future with greater peace of mind.
