I am a second-career Licensed Professional Counselor with over 7 years of clinical experience. I focus primarily on working with older adults, helping you explore your thoughts and feelings around life challenges and changes. Common concerns I’ve successfully worked with include anxiety and depression, trauma, relationship issues, self-esteem, and building greater compassion and confidence. I have a passion for helping people improve their quality of life.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach is warm, collaborative, and personalized to each individual. I believe in building a trusting relationship where you feel safe exploring your thoughts and emotions openly. Through supportive conversations, we navigate life’s transitions together, helping you gain clarity, confidence, and resilience. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Together, we’ll work toward personal growth, emotional well-being, and a greater sense of fulfillment in your daily life.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our first session, I will do my best to get to know you and discuss what brought you to therapy. This is a relaxed, supportive conversation with no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. We’ll also talk about how therapy works, what to expect moving forward, and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you. My priority is to ensure you feel heard, respected, and at ease as we start this journey together at your own pace.
