Intro
I am a psychologist in California. I am passionate about supporting individuals through tough times in their lives and bringing healing. If you are going through something now or have in the past and want to feel a little lighter, I am your gal! I am someone who can handle the toughest of conversations one day and another day share a laugh with you. There is no topic that is too challenging for me. I have years of experience working with complex trauma, serious health issues, and in gender clinics. I can also support you with grief, loss, sleep challenges, end of life concerns, depression, anxiety, identity stress, organization/attention issues, and more. I am multilingual and multicultural and believe your background is an important piece of your identity.
How would you describe your approach to care?
I am an integrative psychologist that will spend time getting to really know you and the challenges you are facing. Once we are comfortable with each other, to reduce the load of your challenges, I use the therapy approach that is most effective to support you with the issues you are facing. I adapt every approach to be a good fit with your style and preferences. I provide trauma-informed and identity-affirming care. I hope that therapy provides a space to be honest about the struggles you face and to help release some of the weight of those issues. It should not feel like a chore!
What should be expected in the first session?
In the first meeting, we will be reviewing important policies to set the foundation for the work we will do together. After that, I'd love to hear about you and a little about the challenges you are facing. You are welcome to ask any question that is on your mind too. It is not an interview, it should feel like a chat with a warm person who really wants to get to know you better!
