Dr. Claudia Hristova
Intro
Hello! I'm a clinical neuropsychologist with a passion for helping older adults optimize their cognitive, emotional, and overall well-being. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals navigating a wide range of cognitive, medical, and emotional concerns, and I find it incredibly rewarding to support people through life's changes. I have a special interest in healthy aging, resilience, and helping individuals maintain a meaningful quality of life. I look forward to getting to know you and partnering with you on your journey toward greater well-being.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the principles of positive psychology. I believe that while challenges are a natural part of life, each person also possesses unique strengths that can be built upon to foster resilience and meaningful change. Together, we'll focus on understanding your experiences, identifying practical strategies, and working toward goals that support your emotional health, cognitive wellness, and overall quality of life. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.
What should be expected in the first session?
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting relationship. We'll spend time discussing your concerns, your personal history, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and goals, and together we'll develop a plan that feels tailored to your needs. My goal is for you to leave our first meeting feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.
