We’re living through challenging times, especially for those in marginalized communities. As a queer woman, I understand how difficult it can feel to navigate the world, particularly if you haven’t always felt safe or understood. My goal is to create a space where your experiences are validated and where you can rediscover joy even in dark moments.

I specialize in working with trauma and mood disorders, helping clients explore their life stories, hopes, and relationships to build a fulfilling future. Starting therapy can feel daunting, especially if you’ve struggled to feel accepted or truly heard. I’m here to offer that acceptance and support as we work through whatever life has brought your way.

How would you describe your approach to care?

I believe you are the expert in your own life, and sometimes we all need someone to listen and help make sense of our experiences. My approach focuses on reducing the impact of trauma, strengthening relationships, and finding practical ways to manage everyday stress. Together, we’ll identify what matters most to you and work as a team to help you reach your mental health goals.

What should be expected in the first session?

I approach the first session as a conversation to get to know you. During this time, I’ll gather some background information and help identify what we’ll be working on together, all in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. My goal is to begin building a relationship and help you feel at ease as we start discussing any challenges you’re facing, while also giving you a clear sense of what to expect in sessions moving forward.
