Dr. Dagmar Nunez
Intro
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Florida, fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with years of clinical experience working with older adults. My career has focused on helping people navigate life’s most meaningful and challenging transitions, including depression, anxiety, grief, caregiver burden, and loss. I’m passionate about creating a safe, compassionate space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to improve your quality of life and find meaning and purpose in your daily life.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach is warm, compassionate, and personalized to each person. My aim is to build a trusting relationship where you feel safe to share your story and express your thoughts and emotions. We will navigate life’s transitions together, whether that is grief, loss, caregiver burden, or depression, and help you gain clarity and resilience. My goal is to create a space where every patient feels understood and supported through every step of their journey.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our first session, I take the time to listen and understand what brings you to therapy. We will explore your personal history, your current concerns, and what you hope to achieve. I create a warm and welcoming space where there is no pressure or judgment, so we can have an open and honest conversation. By the end of the session, we will have begun building trust, understanding your needs, and making sure you feel comfortable and heard.
