Dr. Jessica Loftus
As a therapist who has personally overcome many difficult habits—including a 100-pound sustained weight loss—I bring empathy and real-world understanding to my work. I offer warm, professional counseling to provide the support you need to gain insight into your struggles, overcome roadblocks, and succeed in the areas of life that matter most.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My specialties include chronic anxiety, childhood abuse, grief, divorce, depression, job loss, chronic pain, healthy weight loss, infertility, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I also support clients in pursuing positive goals such as exploring a new retirement career, enhancing creativity, and realizing their fullest potential. My approach combines deep emotional healing with practical strategies for meaningful life growth.
What should be expected in the first session?
The first step in therapy is easing anxiety using simple, evidence-based techniques. From there, we’ll focus on your goals at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Our initial session is designed to help you feel more at ease, begin reducing stress, and start building the foundation for meaningful progress and lasting change.
