Dr. Karyn Bentley
Intro
I’m a Clinical Psychologist with over 23 years of experience and a PSYPACT-authorized provider, serving clients across more than 40 states. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, sleep difficulties, trauma, and grief and loss. I’m especially passionate about working with older adults—walking alongside them through life transitions, emotional challenges, and the meaningful (and sometimes complex) experiences that come with aging.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach to therapy is grounded in warmth, empathy, and evidence-based care. I take an integrative, holistic approach that supports the well-being of mind, body, and spirit, while honoring each person’s unique life story and inner strengths. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where growth and healing can unfold, and where you feel respected, supported, and understood throughout the therapeutic process.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our first session, my intention is to help you feel comfortable, supported, and at ease as we begin our work together. We’ll gently explore what brought you to therapy, a bit of your personal history, and what you’re hoping to gain from this process. There’s no pressure to share anything before you’re ready. My priority is that you feel heard and understood as we begin building a meaningful therapeutic connection and working together toward what matters most to you.
