Dr. Linda Halbert-Rhea
Intro
Hi, I'm Dr. Linda. My practice was founded 30 years ago upon the principle to love all others without judgment, regardless of age, race, religion, and sexual orientation. It is my top priority to ensure clients receive professional care in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. While my education is secular, I am also a fervent believer in Christ Jesus should clients choose to incorporate Christianity into their treatment plan. I recently moved to the beautiful state of Georgia with my husband Lauren and our fur baby Diego.
How would you describe your approach to care?
I mostly adhere to an Adlerian constructivist approach to help you feel heard and respected. I choose the best treatment plan for your presenting issue and consider your development and desired pace in this process. We will navigate your life transitions together and give you the necessary tools and coping skills for a meaningful and fulfilling life.
What should be expected in the first session?
I have been through many years of clinical training to assist with many types of issues. I will listen to your experiences and ask you pertinent questions about your life, including your background, atypical experiences, and relationships with others. I will also ask about your goals and what you hope to gain from therapy. Sometimes, I will assign psychological homework as a means of making progress outside of session.
