Dr. Morgan Swain-Sears
Intro
I'm Dr. Morgan (she/her/hers), a licensed psychologist with authorization to provide telehealth services in over 40 states. I strive to create a space that feels affirming and restorative for clients from all walks of life. I bring a deep understanding of the different factors that shape mental health. My approach centers on culturally responsive, identity-affirming care rooted in equity, compassion, and evidence-based practice.
How would you describe your approach to care?
I specialize in identity issues, life transitions, adjustment issues, women's issues, mother-daughter relationships, and neurodivergence (ADHD and autism). I also treat depression and anxiety. I take a warm, collaborative approach to help you feel heard and at ease as we get to know each other in the early stages of therapy. I combine empathy, honest feedback, and supportive guidance to help you make sense of the past, recognize your strengths, and build new skills. Together, we'll create strategies that continue to support you even after therapy ends.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our first session, I'd like to learn a bit about your background. Understanding where you've been helps us figure out where you'd like to go on your therapy journey. My goal is to create a space that feels collaborative and free of judgment, so you can show up exactly as you are and decide whether we should continue working together.
