Intro

I am a licensed psychologist who believes you already carry the answers you're looking for — my job is to help you find the best route to get there, like a GPS. I work with older adults navigating caregiving stress, grief, and the quieter anxieties that come with the changing seasons of life. I see each client as a whole person shaped by a rich history, not just a list of symptoms. My approach is warm, direct, and solution-focused: we won't spend years circling the problem; we'll build a map and develop a game plan. If you're ready to feel like yourself again, I'd love to connect and help you get there.

How would you describe your approach to care?

I see people like flowers waiting to bloom: they need the right amount of sunlight and water, and sometimes the most useful thing I can do is give that growth time rather than rush it. I’ll gently point out when we’re falling short of the goals we’ve set together, while always holding you to the measuring stick you choose, never mine. My style blends humor, warmth, candor, and science. I believe in teaching you to fish, not handing you one. You can expect a map with explanations from me, not just turn-by-turn directions, so you can build the tools and confidence to navigate on your own.

What should be expected in the first session?

Our first session is a conversation, not an interview. I want to hear your story, in your own words, at your own pace. As you talk, I'm listening for two things: the moments you've already solved your own problems, and the moments where you've felt stuck. I'll ask about your experience with mental health support, because I want to know what's worked, what hasn't, and what I should avoid repeating. I believe you're more capable than you give yourself credit for. My job is to help you recognize the strengths and solutions you already have and put them to work on what you’re facing now.
