Dr. Stacey Hellow
Intro
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a PhD in Psychology. I have spent the past 30 years working with individuals and families, as well as advocating for victims of crime and first responders. My extensive experience working in the law enforcement and criminal justice arena has given me the skills to work with individuals who have a difficult time processing trauma, including the symptoms and unique circumstances it creates for the individual and their family. I have successfully worked with anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, and conflict resolution.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach is holistic, empathetic, and collaborative. I take the time to build a trusting relationship where you feel safe exploring your thoughts and feelings. Together, we will navigate life’s transitions, clarify your individual needs, and empower you to make meaningful, lasting changes in your daily life.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our first session, we'll take the time to get to know each other and discuss what brought you to therapy. This is a relaxed, supportive, and collaborative conversation. We'll also address how therapy works, what your expectations are, and identify goals that feel meaningful to you. I want to ensure that you feel heard, respected, and at ease as we start this journey together at your own pace.
