Intro

Pleased to meet you! I’m a Yale-trained psychologist, licensed in Connecticut and PSYPACT-approved to see clients across 43 states. I have expertise in mood, anxiety, and trauma-based concerns, with a special focus on OCD and PTSD. I’m also knowledgeable about the therapeutic applications of psychedelics, and I aim to bring a thoughtful, grounded approach to care.

How would you describe your approach to care?

My clients often describe me as warm, personable, intuitive, easygoing, and flexible. In my work, I offer high-quality, evidence-based, integrative, culturally attuned, and affirming cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I also offer integration services for clients who want to collaboratively process past profound psychedelic or ketamine experiences, in support of meaningfully integrating these experiences into their lives moving forward.

What should be expected in the first session?

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. This is a relaxed, supportive conversation—there’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. We’ll also discuss how therapy works, what to expect moving forward, and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you. My priority is to make sure you feel heard, respected, and at ease as we start this journey together, at your own pace. From there, therapy typically begins on a weekly cadence, with an initial collaborative treatment planning phase (1–2 sessions) to clarify current concerns and corresponding goals. Regular sessions follow, during which integrative CBT and ACT skills and strategies are learned, absorbed, and put into practice to support lasting benefits after treatment. Psychedelic/ketamine integration is also available if appropriate. This service does not involve the administration of psychedelics, ketamine, or other psychoactive agents. Rather, the emphasis is on collaboratively processing previous profound psychedelic/ketamine experiences in service of integrating meaningful insights into your life moving forward. I may also incorporate CBT, ACT, and harm reduction principles into the integration process.
