Intro
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and you don’t have to take it alone. As a licensed clinical psychologist with almost 20 years of experience, I’m here to help you explore and work through the obstacles that may be getting in the way of living a more fulfilling and meaningful life. I work with adults seeking support for concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, medical conditions, major life transitions, and everyday stress. Together, we can deepen your understanding of yourself, build practical tools to navigate challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach to care is integrative, meaning I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to support what matters most to you. Together, we might use cognitive-behavioral strategies to gently explore and shift unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, insight-oriented work to better understand the deeper roots of your experiences, and mindfulness-based techniques to help you feel more grounded, present, and at ease.
What should be expected in the first session?
During our first session, we will begin building a foundation for our work together in a space that feels welcoming, supportive, and collaborative. We will explore what brought you to therapy, begin to understand your experiences and history, and talk about what feels most important for you to focus on. It is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and get a sense of how I work.
