Eloris Smith
Intro
I am licensed in Louisiana, Pennsylvania, and Alabama with 7 years of professional work experience. I have experience helping clients with stress, parenting issues, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, and career difficulties. I also have extensive experience working with depression and anxiety.
How would you describe your approach to care?
I believe that you are the expert of your story, and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming the things that challenge you. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life, and to take the first steps toward change. I am here to support and empower you on that journey.
What should be expected in the first session?
During our first therapy session, you can expect a warm, welcoming space where you are encouraged to show up just as you are, with no pressure and no judgment. We will spend time getting to know each other, talking about what brings you in, and exploring what you hope to gain from therapy at your own pace. You are the expert on your life, and my role is to partner with you by listening, supporting, and helping you make sense of your experiences while identifying strengths you may not even realize you have. Together, we will begin to outline goals that feel meaningful and attainable, and I will answer any questions you have about the process so you feel comfortable and informed. This is the start of a collaborative journey where your voice matters and your growth is guided by both your insight and our shared work.
