Erin Levenberg
Intro
I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 14 years of experience, and I’m dedicated to supporting older adults through the many changes that come with this stage of life. I work with a wide range of concerns, including grief and loss, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and shifting family dynamics. Whether you’re coping with loss, adjusting to new roles, or navigating evolving relationships, you don’t have to do it alone. I offer a compassionate, steady space where you can talk openly, make sense of what you’re going through, and find a path forward that feels meaningful to you.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach to care is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each individual. I integrate evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and solution-focused techniques. I focus on helping clients build practical coping skills, improve emotional awareness, and strengthen relationships. I also adapt my approach to meet each client’s needs, ensuring therapy is accessible and effective.
What should be expected in the first session?
In the first session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where we begin getting to know each other. I will ask about your background, current concerns, and what you hope to gain from therapy, while allowing you to share at your own pace. We will identify initial goals and discuss how I can best support you. My goal is for you to leave feeling comfortable, understood, and confident as you move forward.
