Intro
Hello! My name is Fatima Abdelmagid and I am a licensed mental health clinician in the state of Massachusetts. I have many years of experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I love working with people of different backgrounds, coming from all walks of life. I have experience working with trauma, mood disorders, and addiction.
How would you describe your approach to care?
I like to foster a client-centered therapeutic approach. I want my clients to feel seen, heard, and hope they feel a sense of calm and safety when speaking to me. I will always strive to make sure your needs are heard and met.
What should be expected in the first session?
The first session is usually more of an informal session, in which I want my clients to first and foremost feel safe with me as their clinician. It is a session for both of us to get to know each other. It is a time for you to share your thoughts and concerns, your struggles, and your expectations and how I can help you meet those expectations.
