Intro
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas with eight years of clinical experience, following a second career as a professional educator. I have supported individuals facing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, loss and grief, chronic illness, and life transitions. I am especially passionate about working with older adults and have practiced in medical settings, supporting individuals who felt stuck or overwhelmed. It is my honor to walk alongside you as you move toward greater wellness.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach to care is person-centered and collaborative. Each session is guided by your needs, concerns, and goals. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to support and empower you as we work together toward meaningful change.
What should be expected in the first session?
Our first session will focus on building rapport and getting to know one another. We will explore what brought you to therapy and why you chose to begin at this time. This session also allows us to determine whether we are a good fit for working together. I will gather background information to better understand your experiences, needs, and goals, so we can begin shaping a thoughtful and supportive plan for therapy.
