Intro

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with nearly two decades of experience helping older adults navigate life changes and build greater emotional well-being. I work with individuals facing concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, chronic pain, family dynamics, and life transitions. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and respected. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful growth, and I will work with you to identify the tools that best support your ongoing growth and resilience.

How would you describe your approach to care?

My therapeutic style is intuitive, individualized, supportive, and goal-oriented, incorporating practical strategies to support you navigating life's challenges. I will work collaboratively with you to develop a plan that reflects your personal goals and needs. I don't rely on a specific therapeutic modality but instead will integrate evidence-based approaches based on your personal experiences and goals.

What should be expected in the first session?

Your first therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We will talk about what has brought you to therapy and the challenges you're currently facing. I'll ask you some questions about your history as well as your current concerns to gain a better understanding of your experiences, while also giving you plenty of time to ask questions and share any thoughts or concerns you may have about the therapy process. Together, we'll begin to identify your goals so you will leave the session with a clearer understanding of what we will be working on.
