Jean Godfrey-Fuschetto
Intro
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with over 23 years of clinical experience. My career has been focused primarily on working with adults in the hospice setting. I have worked on both the patient care side helping patients and families navigate the thoughts and feelings that come up at the end of life. Common concerns that I have successfully worked with include grief, chronic illness, life transitions, and caregiver needs. I have a passion for helping individuals improve their quality of life and find the space to process their feelings, so that they feel seen and validated.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach is warm, collaborative, and personalized to each individual. I believe in building a trusting relationship where you feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions openly. Through supportive conversations, we navigate life's transitions together, helping you gain clarity, confidence, and resilience. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Together, we'll work toward personal growth and emotional well-being.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our first session, we'll take the time to get to know each other and discuss what brought you to therapy. This is a relaxed, supportive conversation—there's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with. We'll also talk about how therapy works, what to expect moving forward, and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you. My priority is to ensure you feel heard, respected, and at ease as we start this journey together at your own pace.
