Jeanine Pearson
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania with over 20 years of clinical experience working with adults, children, and the older adult population. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate their emotions, challenge and reframe unhealthy thoughts, develop effective coping tools, and improve their overall quality of life. I believe that my authenticity, effective listening skills, warm personality, and empathetic understanding are my greatest strengths.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach to care is genuine, personable, and warm. We will take time to build a therapeutic relationship that feels trusting, safe, and supportive. You can expect a path to care that is tailored to your needs as we work together to create positive change. I believe therapy is a form of self-care and must be viewed holistically. It is important to understand how mental, emotional, and physical health are interconnected. Exercise, adequate sleep, healthy eating habits, stress management, and social connection will all be encouraged.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and exploring what brings you to therapy right now. The conversation will be calm and supportive, and you can share at whatever pace feels right for you. We’ll also go over how therapy works, what you can expect in future sessions, and begin outlining goals that feel meaningful and achievable. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, understood, and supported as we begin this work together.
