Intro
I am Jeanne Mitchell, and helping others heal from past hurts so they can transform their experiences into growth is my life’s work. I believe healing is always in our hands. We each have the power to heal, grow, and become the best version of ourselves, and my mission is to hold your hand on that journey to healing and transformation.
I possess a natural ability to listen and tune in to the specific needs of each individual, and I craft each therapy session to the specific needs of the person. I received my master’s degree in Couple and Family Therapy from Drexel University and have the unique systems perspective of a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience. In addition to my family systems training, my work encompasses the entire person (mind, body, spirit) and the systems that surround them, including family, community, friends, and work. If you are ready to take a journey to heal all parts of yourself, I am ready to walk with you on that journey.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach to care is to listen deeply to learn who you are, what your needs are, and where in your life you desire to heal and grow. From there, we will collaboratively craft a plan and journey together as you implement it, so you can reach what you desire for your life.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our first session, we will get to know each other. I will provide a warm, nurturing environment where we can build trust and where you will feel seen, heard, understood, and respected. My goal is that you will feel comfortable as you begin your healing journey with me.
