I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 5 years of clinical experience. I hold a Master of Science in Family Studies and Human Services, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Kansas State University. Using compassionate, evidence-based approaches, I create a safe space for clients to feel heard and supported. My goal is to strengthen connections, build resilience, and promote emotional well-being while honoring each individual’s life experience and values.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach to care is person-centered, compassionate, and collaborative. Through Sailor Health, I focus on creating a supportive, accessible space where older adults feel heard and respected. I integrate evidence-based practices with a strengths-based perspective to help clients navigate life transitions, health challenges, and emotional concerns. My goal is to build meaningful therapeutic relationships that promote resilience, emotional well-being, and an improved quality of life.
What should be expected in the first session?
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a comfortable, supportive space. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’re currently dealing with, and what you hope to gain. I may ask questions about your background and relationships to better understand your experience. You’re welcome to share at your own pace. We’ll also begin discussing goals and make sure the approach feels like a good fit.
