Intro
I'm Jessica McCallum, aLicensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with 10 years of experience and a deep personal and professional commitment to supporting mature adults. Having witnessed firsthand the unique challenges that come with aging through my own loved ones, I bring both empathy and expertise to every session. I work with clients navigating grief, anxiety, depression, loneliness, life transitions, and more — because you deserve to be heard.
How would you describe your approach to care?
I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic therapies, and person-centered principles to create a care experience that's uniquely yours. No two clients are the same, so I adapt my style — whether that means structured skill-building, gentle body-based awareness, or simply creating space for you to be heard. My goal is for you to feel safe, understood, empowered, and less alone. You deserve care that honors where you've been and supports where you're going.
What should be expected in the first session?
Your first session is about getting to know you. We'll work through some structured questions together so I can better understand your history, your goals, and what brings you to therapy. There's no pressure to have it all figured out — just come as you are. By the end, my hope is that you leave feeling heard, hopeful, and confident that you've taken a meaningful step toward your own wellbeing.
