Intro

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with 14 years of experience supporting adults as they navigate transitions like retirement, health concerns, or the loss of loved ones. I offer a warm, patient, and respectful space where you can talk openly and feel truly heard. My goal is to help you feel more at ease, supported, and connected as you move forward at your own pace.

How would you describe your approach to care?

My approach is collaborative, structured, and goal-oriented while remaining warm and supportive. I use evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I focus on practical tools that clients can apply in their daily lives while also exploring deeper patterns when needed. I meet each client where they are and adapt my approach to their needs, ensuring therapy feels both effective and meaningful.

What should be expected in the first session?

In the first session, we focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. I will ask questions about your current concerns, history, and goals, but there is no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with. We will also review how therapy works and begin identifying priorities for our work together. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, heard, and clear about the next steps.
